Governing Board vacancy for Election District M
Timelines for filling the vacancy:
Term begins upon Governing Board certification and ends June 30, 2013.

Filing forms must be received at Education Minnesota by 4:30 p.m.. |
| Sept. 26-30: |
Ballots will be printed and mailed to Election District M local presidents.* |
| Oct. 10-14: |
Election to be held in Election District M. |
| Oct. 28: |
Ballots must be received at Education Minnesota by 4:30 p.m.. |
| Oct. 29: |
Ballots counted and results forwarded to December Governing Board meeting for certification. |
Filing forms must be sent to the Office of the Elections Committee, 41 Sherburne Ave., St. Paul, MN 55103 (fax: 651-292-4802) and must be received by 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23.
We strongly encourage members to seek out candidates who would be effective representatives of their election district. Please contact one of the officers if you have any questions about the responsibilities of the position.
*Per the election rules, no election will be necessary if the number of candidates on any ballot in any race is equal to or less than the number of positions to be filled.
If only one candidate files for the position, an election is not necessary, and ballots will not be mailed. In that event, the election will be certified at the Oct. 1 Governing Board meeting.
