Philosophy as a board member: I am honored to represent the educators in District Q. With our new organization, I believe it's important to continue the progress from the traditions of our former groups. I am an active listener. I believe in getting things done on the state, intermediate and local levels. I will continue to voice concerns that I know are important to discuss as policy at the governing board.

We have one of the best educational systems in the world in Minnesota, and I believe it's crucial that all of us in Education Minnesota preserve our role in determining the success of our students. Throughout the past millenniums we have created different murals of our vision of the ideal learning world. Now, at the Education Minnesota governing board, we have the historic opportunity to paint one portrait with our united efforts as an example for others in the nation.
