Philosophy as a board member: Education Minnesota is the preeminent source of teaching and learning in Minnesota, but only because of the strong voice of our 70,000-plus members. As a Board member, I actively listen to members' concerns and promote the ideas and causes important to our members. It is not enough just to pay dues to make our collective voice heard; all union members must take an active part in Education Minnesota, and I hope to foster that spirit.
