Philosophy as board member: I believe in a strong professional union which is able to effectively represent all of its members. As a Governing Board member, it is my responsibility to communicate between the members of my election district and other governing bodies in our organization. It is my responsibility to listen to members, bring their views to the state level, as well as consider the views brought forth from other parts of the state. It is then my responsibility to participate in the discussion of issues brought before the Governing Board and come to consensus with fellow Governing Board members in order to make responsible decisions. I commit to attending meetings, being prepared, giving thoughtful consideration to all issues and sharing information with members.
