Philosophy as a board member: As a retired teacher I believe we must keep as many retired teachers actively working with active teachers and their organizations to help protect public education for all students.  As members of the teaching profession they have knowledge that can used in many ways as they volunteer to help.  I have found that if you ask retired teachers for help they will get involved.
