Paul Mueller was elected vice president of Education Minnesota at the Representative Convention on March 17, 2007. He assumed office July 1, 2007.
Mueller served as a career and technical community-based programming teacher at Brooklyn Center High School for the past 24 years and served as the school’s Perkins fund coordinate for the past 13 years. In addition to a long, successful teaching career, Mueller has served in local, state and national union positions including local president and negotiations chair, Education Minnesota governing board, executive commit and budget and finance committee member; and National Education Association director.
Mueller has specific interests in education funding equity and increasing opportunities in elective programs.

Family
Mueller resides in Ham Lake with his wife and two children. He is active in Scouting and Toastmasters.
