Representative Convention frequently asked questions
Education Minnesota will mail the information below to local presidents beginning Jan. 15 as part of the Convention Call. Locals must remit at last 40 percent of their state and national dues obligation by Feb. 14 for local delegates to be seated at the convention.
Education Minnesota will email the program and copies of proposed bylaw amendments to individual registered delegates three weeks before the convention.

When are delegate names due?
Local presidents must submit delegate and alternate names no later than March 16. After the names are submitted, local presidents and delegates will receive a confirmation email.
When are proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws due?
Jan. 9.
How do I make a hotel reservation?
As a delegate, you are responsible for finding your own accommodations. The single and double room rate is $132 plus tax. Education Minnesota does not reimburse for lodging, only for one round-trip mileage. You'll receive a mileage expense form when you register at the RC.
Reserve your room online directly with the hotel. You must reserve your room by April 13 to receive the Education Minnesota convention rate.
