NEA RA delegate information

The National Education Association Representative Assembly takes place July 1-6 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

All Minnesota delegates will receive a packet from Education Minnesota in mid-April with all information necessary to attend the RA, including a housing form, order forms for Minnesota Night Out, Human Rights Dinner, Joint Conference registration information and more.

Local presidents should have received a delegate form from the NEA to complete with their delegate information. Forms are due to Education Minnesota by April 10.

Room rates
Single (1 person-1 bed): $160.00 + 22.80 tax = $182.80/night
Double/double (2 persons-2 double beds): $160.00 + $22.80 tax = $182.80/night
Triple occupancy (3 persons-2 double beds): $190.00 + $26.70 tax = $216.70/night
Quad occupancy (4 persons-2 double beds): $220.00 + $30.60 tax = $250.60/night
Rollaway beds have limited availability.

Delegates should schedule flights to arrive in time for the first Minnesota meeting July 1 at 2 p.m. (delegates funded by Education Minnesota will meet with the secretary-treasurer at 1:30 p.m.).
