About continuing education/relicensure credit

You might be able to earn continuing education credit for attending the 2011 Education Minnesota Professional Conference. Thursday workshops are worth one CEU each and Friday workshops are worth two. Pick up an attendance certificate at the end of any workshop session you attend.

Many workshops at the 2011 conference might help you meet the state's general license renewal requirements. In addition, several workshops might fulfill specific license renewal requirements in these areas:

  • Reading instruction.
  • Identifying early-onset mental illness in students.
  • Positive behavioral interventions.
  • Accommodations and modifications to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Reflective practice.
  • Technology.

These workshops are noted online and in the program distributed at the conference.

Check with your local continuing education committee to determine if a session fulfills relicensure or clock-hour requirements.

Please note that there is no registration for these sessions and seating is first-come, first-served.

Other opportunities to earn relicensure credit can be found by searching for professional development events on our calendar.
