Minnesota Teacher of the Year

Amber Damm named 2009 Minnesota Teacher of the Year

Damm, a seventh- and eighth-grade English and language arts teacher at Clara Barton Open School in Minneapolis, accepted the award from 2008 recipient Derek Olson at a banquet May 3.

Education Minnesota is an affiliate of the National Education Association, the American Federation of Teachers and AFL-CIO.
