AFT Convention takes place July 7-10
The American Federation of Teachers Convention takes place July 7-11 at the Washington State Convention center in Seattle, Wash.
All Minnesota delegates will receive a packet from Education Minnesota in mid-May with the information necessary to attend the convention, including a housing form, order forms for Minnesota Night Out, flight information and more.
Local presidents should have received a packet from the AFT with registration information.

Single (1 person-1 bed): $179.00 + $27.92 tax = $206.92/night
Double/double (2 persons-2 double beds): $179.00 + $27.92 tax = $206.92/night
Triple occupancy (3 persons-2 double beds): $204.00 + $31.82 tax = $235.82/night
Quad occupancy (4 persons-2 double beds): $229.00 + $35.72 tax = $264.72/night
Rollaway beds – additional $20 in king room only
Delegates should schedule flights to arrive in time for registration on July 7 at 1 p.m.
