Registration: Trauma-Informed, Restorative Practices for Educators

      Description:
Education Minnesota invites all members to a one-day symposium on trauma informed, restorative practices for educators.  This symposium was designed by both classroom teachers and ESPs to address school safety concerns and provide new alternatives and intervention strategies to curb the over-reliance on exclusionary punishments.  This symposium will start the important conversation on how we can work together to improve school safety, close achievement gaps, end structural racism, and build stronger schools.

Members can register online. Education Minnesota will reimburse mileage for all members and will provide breakfast and lunch. Participants will earn five continuing education clock hours. Registration is limited to the first sixty members who apply.

We will generate a wait list and notify interested members when spots become available. Registration will close on April 25, 2017 at 11:30 p.m.
