Donate books for Wadena and needy kids Oct. 21

Help replace school library materials lost in the Wadena tornado and the southeastern Minnesota floods, and help bring literacy and learning to children in need throughout Minnesota. Donate a book at the annual Book Drive for Students Thursday, Oct. 21, during the Education Minnesota Professional Conference at Saint Paul RiverCentre.

New and gently used books for early childhood ages through young adults are needed. The initiative is a project of Education Minnesota’s Community Outreach Committee.

Bring books to the Target booth (booth number 235) in the exhibit hall, which is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 21.
