Conference visitors encouraged to use free park-and-ride Oct. 20

Visitors to the Education Minnesota Professional Conference are encouraged to use Education Minnesota’s free park-and-ride service to and from Saint Paul RiverCentre on Thursday, Oct. 20. Shuttle buses leave regularly between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from the parking lot at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Como Avenue west of Snelling, across from the Coliseum. 3,000 spaces are available.

A handicap-accessible van is available; speak to the on-site bus coordinator when you arrive at the parking lot.

Please note that the Saint Paul College parking lot is NOT available for Professional Conference parking this year. The free shuttle service is only available to and from the Fairgrounds.

The park-and-ride service is available Thursday only. Other parking options both days of the conference include:

RiverCentre Ramp, 150 W. Kellogg Blvd. - $10 per day
Science Museum of Minnesota ramp, 120 W. Kellogg Blvd. (enter on the lower parking entrance at Chestnut Street)
Smith Avenue Ramp, 145 Smith Ave. (enter on Smith Avenue between 5th Street and Kellogg)
Other ramps in the area
Metro Transit buses also serve the RiverCentre/Xcel Energy Center area, including Routes 63, 54, 94, 16 and 21 . Buses board on Sixth Street and Minnesota Street.
