Overview

Purpose
The Education Minnesota Educational Support Professional of the Year Award recognizes the contributions of educational support professionals to their schools, communities and profession. The award is presented to a member of Education Minnesota who demonstrates outstanding accomplishments and reflects the contributions of ESPs to public education. 

Award
Each year, one nominee receives the Education Minnesota Educational Support Professional of the Year Award. It includes a $1,000 honorarium and expense-paid travel to the NEA Education Support Professional National Conference.

The four remaining finalists will receive a $100 recognition award.

Eligibility
All current Education Minnesota educational support professionals who have been members for three years as of Jan. 15 of the award year are eligible. Individuals can be nominated by anyone associated with Minnesota schools by filling out and returning the one-page nomination form.

Deadline 
Education Minnesota must receive all nominations forms by 4:30 p.m. June 15.
