Long-term care insurance up to 55 percent off for a limited time only

Genworth Financial, a pioneer in the long-term care insurance industry since 1974, is offering all Education Minnesota members and their spouses/domestic partners significant discounts until May 31.

Genworth will also extend rates for all non-tobacco users, in addition to all of the other discounts, through May 31.

Potential discounts

Couple, both approved: 40 percent off, preferred rates discount 10 percent, plus additional 5 percent off sponsored group discount, for a total of 55 percent off
One spouse approved: 25 percent spousal discount, 10 percent preferred rate discount, plus 5 percent sponsored group discount, for a total of 40 percent off
Single person: 20 percent off preferred health discount, plus 5 percent sponsored group discount, for a total of 25 percent off

All applicants must go through full underwriting and be approved by Genworth before discounts apply.
