Sen. Franken's staff to host education forums around state

U.S. Sen. Al Franken has announced that his staff will hold K-12 Education Policy Listening Sessions around the state this month to discuss a number of issues, including the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, currently known as No Child Left Behind.

Franken is a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. This is an opportunity for Education Minnesota members to share their classroom experiences with Franken’s staff, especially the successes and challenges educators experience.
