Learn what's ahead for Minnesota schools at annual Education Summit 

The Alliance for Student Achievement’s annual Minnesota Education Summit takes place Sept. 21 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It includes:

  • Futurist Arthur Harkins, who explores the relationship between technology, education and the workplace.
  • Author David Walsh, who will discuss his campaign to get parents to say “no” to kids in an effort to improve discipline, character and achievement levels.
  • Breakout sessions on topics such as:
    School finance reform.
    State assessments.
    Public and private school test scores.
    Components of kindergarten-readiness programs.
