Free mentoring program available for RTI leaders
The RTI Action Network is offering another year of our Leadership Network to support district and building leaders in the effective implementation of Response to Intervention. Designed to accommodate busy educators with full schedules, the Leadership Network will provide important guidance on how to proceed to get results for improved student achievement.
During the 2010–11 school year, the RTI Action Network will offer this opportunity to 250 building and district leaders -- for free. Membership is limited and the application process closes July 30, so sign up today.
Who is this for? Principals, superintendents, curriculum directors, RTI coordinators, instructional specialists, psychologists – any district or building leader actively engaged in planning or implementing RTI at any stage, from beginning to advanced.
Members will receive:
- Access to a coach/mentor who is an experienced RTI implementer
- Monthly group calls/online conferences
- Individual on-demand contact for problem-solving
- Online community of colleagues to share ideas, discuss resources and brainstorm solutions
- RTI checklists, worksheets and informational resources
- Monthly e-tips with suggestions for effective RTI implementation
- Subscription to the RTI Action Network monthly e-newsletter
- Announcements of upcoming events and new resources
Members will be asked to help direct the work of our national initiative by providing:
- Information on the needs in the field for information and training
- Feedback and data from their buildings or districts regarding the impact of RTI and the RTI Action Network’s resources
